I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Long's passing. I was one of her first students (10 of us) who participated in her pilot program to educate special needs students, paving the way for their placement into the regular school system. I had a severe hearing loss, which created problems for speech, along with gait and coordination issues. Dr. Long and her assistants provided the patience and skill to help all of us.
