Not sure what to say?

A former student of Mrs. Mabry at Madge Youtz. My family moved away and I wrote letters to her, then by chance met her again when I was older - she still had the letters! A wonderful woman that I will always remember.

Aunt Ruby was a treasure! She was always interested in my life and what I was doing. She came from very humble roots as did my Dad growing up in Smile, Kentucky. She accomplished so much in her life and I always enjoyed time spent with her and Uncle Perry. Rest in peace, Aunt Ruby!

Mrs. Mabry was my 3rd grade teacher at Madge Youtz school and then many years later was also my daughter's teacher at Youtz. It was a pleasure to have her as a teacher and interesting to attend a conference with later in life. She was a blessing.

Thank you Ruby for being a great teacher and friend at Madge Youtz. Thank you for so many memories! Linda Lemmon Lewis.

I was a student in Mrs. Mabry's 3rd Grade class at Madge Youtz in the early 1960's. The excitement she brought to the classroom was amazing. I'll never forget the time she dressed up as a bunny rabbit. I looked forward to seeing her each and every day, and I am thankful for the impact she had on my life.

Our condolences to Ruby's family...She was a dear friend. I met her when I also worked at Madge Youtz School but after retirement moved to AZ...I was thrilled when Ruby visited me in AZ...Knowing many will miss her who knew her.

Mrs. Mabry was my third grade teacher at Madge Youtz School in Canton, Ohio. I remember her as being thoughtful and kind. It was during this school year that President Kennedy was assasinated and I never forget the look on her face as she kept her composure, yet a tear was in her eye. She taught us how to use the library and it's still one of my favorite places. R.I.P. Mrs. Mabry; you deserve an "A" for your work on this Earth.
