Ruby Jane Marshall Ruby Jane (Young) Marshall, of Haymarket, Va., passed away suddenly on Friday, April 16, 2010. She was 73 years old.

Born in Greencastle, Pa. on December 12, 1936, to Paul Young and Helen Hayes Young, Jane is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Robert Marshall.

She leaves behind seven children, daughter Debra Aldrich, of Fredericksburg, Va., daughter Sharon Stutt of Haymarket, Va., daughter Audrey Dawson of Falmouth, Va. and husband Richard, son David Marshall of Lignum, Va. and wife Karen, daughter Terrie Stipes of Fredericksburg, Va., daughter Karen McCutcheon of Dolphin, Va. and Amy Herman of Haymarket, Va. and husband Todd and lives on in her eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her surviving siblings are brothers Robert Young, Earl Young, both of Greencastle, Pa. and James Young of Harrisburg, Pa. and sisters Peggy Baker and Joan Weller, both of Greencastle, Pa.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Young of Greencastle, Pa., her sister Evelyn Wagner of Greencastle, Pa. and her son Robert Marshall, Jr.

She was a member of Haymarket Baptist Church, in Haymarket, Va.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia where funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. with Pastor Dr. Charles Stewart officiating. A Graveside funeral service will be held at Browns Mill Cemetery, Greencastle, Pa. on Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 AC Skinner Pkwy, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256 in loving memory of Ruby Jane (Young) Marshall Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.
