I remember when Aunt Ruby was married to Walter Golden. I would play tinker toys with my cousin Jerry. Uncle Walter was a milkman. Those were good old days and then Aunt Ruby married McAlister and came to my house in Fort Smith Arkansas a couple of times and visited with me and my husband later on. I'm Aunt Ruby's neice Bessie Owens Cook. I live now in Round Rock Texas. My dad was Henry (Pete) Owens. I always thought Aunt Ruby had such class. She was always dressed so stylish. She had a warmth that made people feel at ease. A beautiful person. I didnt get to see her much as the years went on, but she was always a good model to follow after I heard Jerry was a VP at Shell Oil. Doesnt surprise me that he would go far. I miss Aunt Ruby, but will join her one day in paradise.

A wonderful sweet Aunt. I just had this feeling Aunt Ruby passed. She has joined the angels above and all the family. I tried contacting her several times but never knew exactly if I was calling the right number. I can't remember Aunt Billi's last name. They were both there when my sister, brothers, mom and their brother, my fad Henry died. Good people! Beautiful ladies and so thoughtful and generous. I used to play with her son Jerry. God bless my dear Aunt and God bless her family here. I know she was proud of you all. Much love.....
