Not sure what to say?

Although I never met Ruby, I thought that the family would like to know that for the past 10 years, I have has one of her beautiful paintings hanging in my house. I bought it at an estate sale in South Orange, NJ when I was furnishing my first apartment, around 2009, It has moved with me and I find it particularly calming. It now hangs over my computer in my home office. It is stunning in its simplicity and always makes me think of the coast. The waves are so lovely, I can almost hear them....

I will think of Nanny each time I see a beautful piece of china or drive by a Luby's. I feel so blessed to have the privledge of being on the receiving end of three pieces of her beautifully painted china.
My love and prayers go out to each one of you who loved Nanny so dearly.

Not good-bye only see you later to my beloved Nanny. You and Papaw gave me a childhood and showed me somebody loved me and cared about me. I am so happy that you are dancing with the angels today and for eternity. See you when I get my wings. Laura

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
