The Hendersons lived in the same block as the McMillans in old Newsome Park. The neighborhood kids referred to her as "Miss" Ruby. She was kind, fun-loving and always nicely dressed. I have fond memories of her as I was old enough to babysit her children: Michael, Debra, and Andre. To the children, what a blessing to have your mother with you for such a time, and I pray that each of you will be continually blessed!
