Not sure what to say?

We miss you, Nell. You inspired me to do family history research. I am thankful for all the family history that you passed on to me. RIP

After 51 yrs Nell and I spent 1 afternoon having a great time at Karens in1914. We were classmates at UNA. I loved her and appreciated her energy and love of teaching and learning. Learned of her death via Al retired teachers. Heaven's gain. WYnell Lee Howell,Haleyville, AL

Nell was a warm and loving woman who accomplished much with her intelligence, energy, organizational skills, and her ability to connect with others. Completing a doctorate while raising three daughters by herself, is one of many facts that show Nell wisely developed and shared her natural gifts.

Nell was one of my mother's, Frances Nicholson Byrd, professors at Alabama A&M University. Mother, who was a Madison County schoolteacher, often spoke of Nell's great teaching abilities and...

She was my Nell, as I'm sure many of those who loved her felt. She always brightened my day. I feel so blessed that I was able to spend time with her recently when she traveled to Gulf Shores with daughter Sherry and Peach. As both admirers of Munsch's LOVE YOU FOREVER, Nell and I ended that visit as we ended all our visits and phone calls "I'll like you for always and I'll love you forever." We had to end there as we both always became emotional. I will love you forever Nell and I'm so...

Nell was the most genuine and generous person with her love and friendship which has lasted fifty eight years I will miss her dearly.
God bless her . Her penfriend from England.xx

So sorry for your loss, but you have so many wonderful memories to pass on.

So sorry to read about 'Nell's passing; always liked swapping family history with her and sister Margie......distant cousin, Maurice

Ruby Nell was an absolute treasure to all who were lucky enough to meet her. Her daughter, Sheri is equally as brilliant and lovely as her mum. Ms. Ruby is already loved by so many, she will be deeply missed. To Sheri (aka Fifi) and the entire family, my love, thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Dr. Nicholson raised an exceptional daughter in Sharon, thus her legacy of good works lives on through her. She helped a lot of people, and that's a remarkable accomplishment.

My Sincere condolences,

Shed
