Not sure what to say?

Mary Ann,

We are very sad to hear the news of David's death. Betty Upton told us of his illness at the West Africa reunion last October in Austin so we were aware that all was not well.

When we think of you, we remember friendship, family, fun, and most significantly, church. Always remember: "Friendship is a sheltering tree." (Samuel Taylor Coleridge), and "we have been friends in sunshine and in shade." (Caroline S. Horton).

Our thoughts and prayers...

Dear Mary Ann,
We were so saddened to hear that our beloved Bishop K is not here, with us. We as a family have always loved and respected you both. Ambrea remembers him playing barbie with her, she treasures the picture. Chelsea remembers the home baked special cakes for seminary that the mouse used to get in overnight. Jeremy remembers having a great tent companion at scout camp. Cameron remembers playing trains with David. Bruce was honored to get to serve with him in the Bishopric in...

Dear Mary Ann & Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Dave's illness and death. We love you guys so much and miss having you near. We will never forget the blessing Dave and Paul gave to baby Noah (now almost 16) in the hospital when he was so sick. When I look at Noah and see what a grown up young man he is, I remember what the power of the priesthood in righteous hands can do. We are forever grateful for the blessing of having friends like you. Please know that we send our love to...

We were so saddened to hear of David's illness and sudden death. He will be in our prayers, and we extend to you, Mary Ann, and your family our deepest sympathy. We will always treasure the all-too-brief, but memorable visits we had at the Kershisnik and RSHS reunions.

Love, Don and Renee Kershisnik

Dear Mary Ann,
My thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time. My memories of you and David are of two people blessed with a love and a friendship for which many strive but few achieve. You and your sons have wonderful memories of a very special man.
With affection,
Barbara (Bobbie)

Mary Ann,
Our prayers are with you and your family.
We may be miles away, we still will miss Dave.
Love.

Dear Mary Ann and Family,
Ann and I were deeply saddened to learn of David's passing. We haven't seen David since we returned from our mission, but we remember with fondness working with you and David on the Friday morning shift at the temple. May you be blessed with a peaceful heart and the comfort of our Savior during this time of sorrow. Hope to see you soon.
