Ruby is my sister in-law but even more a dear friend. When George and Ruby moved to Vancouver I got to know her better. When I would visit Ruby was very busy. I would go with her on her errands which included visiting her children and helping others. I loved her and we shared many wonderful talks together. She told me she loved Temple work but was sad when she couldn't do it anymore. The last time I visited her and my brother George was In December of 2013 she was so happy to be getting around better. I was so happy for her. I will miss her very much and the time we spent together. I love you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aunt Ruby. Thank you for your hospitality whenever we came to visit. It was always so uncanny how much you and my mother Janice looked like twins. My condolences to your family and close friends. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed...:(

My heart aches for my sweetheart!
My Dearest Darling Ruby:
I love you, dear, so very much with all my heart it seems,
I want you near, so very near, to realize our dreams.
You're in my thoughts, my very thoughts, and there you'll always be.
You see, my Dear, I love you so, for you belong to me.
Your loving Husband,
George

You were such a kind, gracious and happy person. Your laugh was infectious and your love for your family was evident always. I will always remember how loving and accepting you were of others, and how strong you were. You called me a few months ago and left me the sweetest message, which I am so thankful that I saved and now have forever; you will be missed!! Love you, grandma!

Ruby, you are the mother of my son-in-law, Jess. Although we did not live close by we did meet on special occasions. You are a very special woman who has touched the hearts of many lives and will remain in their lives even though they cannot see, hear or touch you. You will be there to guide them as you have all these years. Rest in peace Ruby, you will suffer no more.

It was such a blessing to grow up with you living so close, I always enjoyed being in your presence because I could feel the love you had for me. I know that throughout your life there have been countless other lives touched by that some love I felt. My life is forever blessed because of the woman you chose to be. You have been an example to me and to the rest of those around you of what it means to be charitable, honest, dedicated, and caring. I'm grateful for time I got to spend helping you do what you loved, even if it was pulling weeds out of your cherished flowerbeds. A love for things that grow has stayed with me in my adult years, though my flowers aren't nearly as bright as yours were. While I'm saddened by your passing and will miss you terribly, I am grateful for an understanding of the plan of salvation and for the knowledge that I will see you again. Until that time I'll continue to look back on those memories that i hold so dear and see your smiling face. I love you Grandma! Your 1st Grandson.

Mom,
Thank you for being my mother. You have taught me many things, but most of all what true charity is. I have learned by your example to seek out those that need a freind. I will always cherish the times we talked about the Gospel and working in the Temple. Thank you for your support through the many trials of my life. You will always have a special place in my heart. I can only imagin the joy you felt when you parted the veil. I Love you Mom,
Jorgene

Her influence of love and compassion is felt by many and will continue for generations to come. I am grateful to be her grandson. Though we cannot see her, hear her, or touch her, she is still so very close and will help us in ways that we cannot conceive to be possible while in this life. She will be missed and not forgotten. May her legacy live on in each one of us.
With much love,

Ruby, you will be missed greatly! You were always thinking of others and willing to go the extra mile to make sure those less fortunate than you were made to feel special. I remember some family thanksgiving get togethers where extra tables were set up because you had invited those who you knew did not have family to celebrate with! I feel so honored to be your daughter in law and will miss you greatly! You were such a strong person always interested in learning new things and always asking people to teach you things that you wanted to know. I remember your desire to start driving again after your surgery....and thinking to myself that I wasn't sure if it was a good idea because of your difficulties in recovering from health issues, but admired your determination to get back to it...and fight for the things you wanted to do!!! You never gave up Ruby! You are a beautiful example of courage and determination! Thank you for raising such a wonderful son who I'm fortunate to have as my husband! Love you and will see you again!!

I know we will meet again, and when we do it will be a wonderful day! I know you are no longer in pain, and can now do all the things you wanted to do. I know you are watching over your family, and I have felt your influence already. I love you mom! Thanks for ALWAYS being there for me. I love you! Your son, Jess
