Ruby Potts Obituary
Serviced are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Bro. Rayburn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara Potts Kidd (Kenneth) of Resaca, Ga.; sons, Jerry L. Potts (Julia) and John U. Potts (Carolyn) of Kossuth; 10 grandchildren, Jethlynn (Terry) McCraw, Jenessa Kuykendall, Jeniece (Roger) Davis, Jason (Pam) Potts, Molly (Brian) Stiltner, Russell Kidd, John (Susan) U. Potts Jr.,Wesley Potts, Ben (Dana) Potts, Mary Allison (Dusty) Bradford; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leon Potts; son, Thompson Carey Potts; sister, Helon Underwood Mauldin; and brother, Thomas Hal Underwood.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jason Potts, John Potts, Wesley Potts, Ben Potts, and grandsons-in-law, Roger Davis and Terry McCraw.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Potts was my Home Ec. teacher at AAHS. I loved her. With my large family,Cooking & Sewing were very important in my life; actually,as an adult, I needed these things more than any other subject that I had in high school and she was a great teacher.
My heart and prayers are with all of you.
