Not sure what to say?

This wonderful, godly woman had an impact on me in my teen years when I visited her home with Tamara and Dee on various occasions. She shared her love for Jesus with me when I was lost and planted a seed in my heart that eventually bloomed in my late twenties. She demonstrated an unconditional love for her family and shared with me her love for the beautiful camelias that she adored. Mrs. Ragusa you've left a legacy of love in many hearts ~ thank you for sharing that love with me.

An excerpted quote by English poet Alfred Austin for my beloved grandmother…

“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but also the soul. Show me your garden and I shall tell you what you are.”

Ruby loved God & her family as she loved gardening – unconditionally, always willing to do whatever was required to be successful.

We will always love you Ruby!

To say Mrs. Ruby lived an incredible life would be an understatement. She had an amazing presence and made such an impact on her family, friends and community that her legacy will continue. The years I spent with her I will cherish always and I hold her in my heart as my own grandmother. Mrs. Ruby is with the Lord now and heaven is rejoicing. May she rest in peace and watch over us as she prayed for all of us during her living years.

Tommy, Margaret Ann, Breezie, Dougie, and the extended Ragusa family,
My condolences on the death of your family matriarch. Aunt Ruby was indeed a special lady and I have only fond memories of the times my family spent with her and Uncle Breezie. As her son and granddaughters put so eloquently in this guest book---she has gone to be with her Lord. I can only add---and to rejoin her beloved Breezie.

For MawMaw, who welcomed me into her already large family circle. How much I enjoyed our visits & the stories she shared.

Ruby has given us many gifts to remember her by: gardens of beautiful flowers, stories to last a lifetime, Bibles underscored with love, an example of pride at the polls, a family that understands the value of family ties, principles solid as a rock and an absolute readiness to "go home" to be with her Lord. We all loved her and will miss her every day.

My beloved grandmother, there are not enough words to express my deep love for you. You were my angel. Thank you God for letting me spend the last day of her life with her. I know this was a gift from you. You will be in my heart till the day I come to meet you and our most awesome God. Hallelujah, she has met our Lord. Let us all rejoice because she is where she has always wanted to be.
