Not sure what to say?

Ruby was a tyrant, a beautiful, angelic tyrant, when it came to her art. She taught Old Masters Style Oil Painting. So many rules, so much to know, so demanding. But the finished canvas always made us (her students) so proud. I have a story to share that is very appropriate for these difficult times.
I like to paint portraits. I was doing my first black person and was very nervous about doing the skin just right. Ruby told me that everyones skin is exactly the same. It is the outside...

I just picked up a beautiful piece of art painted by Ruby. Though we never met, I feel as though I know her through this inspired work. Thank you Jesus.

Ruby,I miss you. You were such a great friend and a wonderful art teacher. You always gave me encouragement to paint even when my work was pitiful. You will always be in my heart. Love to you Sigi

Wow! Larry, your Mom was as pretty as mine, and they're talking about us right now! Two great Moms and women. Hope you and Jerri are doing good, Cathy and I are praying for you and family, and send our Love and BIG HUGS!

I met Ruby Rizzo when I was a young adult and she completely changed my life. It's not enough to say she taught me how to paint. Ruby touched her students so deeply. My heart flooded with memories as I saw Ruby enter the ballroom at the San Francesco di Paola 90th Gala. She was just as beautiful as when I had seen her many years ago. When I told her who I was she quickly remembered my parents and my siblings. She looked stunning! I'm so glad we all got to see her that evening. May she Rest In Peace. My sincerest condolences go out to all of her family.
