Ruby Ross was one of my favorite teachers of all time. She made history class very interesting and funny. I loved her class. She would give multiple choice tests and if you were absent you had to take an essay test. I preferred the essay test. She was one of the most memorable teachers I had - and we just had our 50 year class reunion.

We will forever miss your trademark laugh and all of the good times we have had over the years...Even though I didn't get to see you much over the last few years, anytime we talked on the phone it was like no time had ever passed. Now your pain is gone and that I am happy for...Love, the Bryants..

My thoughts and prayers are with the family because I know she will be greatly missed. She was my favorite teacher at Friendswood High School - she made history fun, her classroom interesting, and her tests hard. She will forever be remembered by many of her students.

While I did not know this lady, I saw "Bedias". My great-grandmother, grandmother (also named Ruby) and grandfathers were all born in Bedias. I have fond memories of going there when I was a little girl. My mother is buried in Iola but my grandparents are buried in Bedias. I graduated from Austin High School, so this lady seemed to have had a lot in common with me. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
