Not sure what to say?

Ruby was my favorite first and second grade teacher. I'll never forget the pinching of my cheeks when I acted up! It's a shame we don't have teachers like her today! Sorry for missing the funeral Wayne, I just heard about your loss today. Take care!

Miss Saunders is what we called her when she taught my second grade class. She was one of the nicest, sweetest people I have ever known, and a wonderful teacher. I met her husband years ago when they came in K&W to eat.
I am very sorry for your loss.

To the Spradlins and the Saunders.I am sorry to hear of Ruby's death. She has been a good friend for such a long time. James lived with us when he accepted work in Roanoke and moved to Roanoke. I got to see her Martha and Mary the last time I was in Roanoke. M prayers will be with you during these sad times.

What a wonderful lady Ruby was. We (my deceased husband and myself) met Ruby shortly after she joined Windsor Hills Church. We immediately took a liking to her. My husband loved teasing her and started calling her "Ruby Tuesday." She loved him very much, too. She will be so very much missed. She was the one who closed the Bible study class each week with some poem or words of wisdom. God bless you and God bless Ruby. Shirley Biggs Shrewsbury

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Saunders' death. She was my second grade teacher at Round Hill elementary school in 1966, and even all these years later, I remember her as one of my favorite teachers. Her kindness and compassion, as well as her passion for teaching, shone through in everything she did. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time.

Sorry to hear of Ruby's death. I enjoyed
our time at Round Hill Elementary School
and teaching you, Wayne.

So sorry to hear of Ruby passing...I think of her so often and ask about her whenever I talk to the family. She was such a joy to be around always smiling and complimenting people. Heaven will be even sweeter with her.

Wayne and Sandy, even though I did not know Ruby, I felt I did because of the wonderful stories I heard about her. God's blessings to all of you during this time.
