Ruby Scott

Ruby was always so kind to me when I was a first-year teacher at Lewisville. I was older, but still had many questions. I will always remember her as a friend.

My children went to Lewisville and I was fortunate to work with Ruby for the dozen years that I taught there. "Miss Ruby" was the school mom to all of us, including me. She was indeed a treasure and I will miss her. I´m sorry I am just now learning of her passing. With deepest sympathy in your loss.

To Roger Michael and william and families, I just want to send my condolences to all your families, I am sorry none of our family was there to represent our Dad's family from Va and the Shirey family and St.Jean as well. I have fond memories growing up with Ruby and all her family and Aunt Mae, We were first cousins and my Dad and Aunt Mae were brother and sister. So glad that JB, took the time to visit us after many years of not seeing Ruby and JB families. we were all close growing up, but...

I loved working with Ruby at Lewisville School. She was a bright spot in everyone´s day. I was fortunate to see her out with her husband after her stroke. We enjoyed a quick visit. She still had that beautiful joyful smile!
