Ruby Dorris Smith Ruby Dorris Smith, age 98, of Smith Mills, KY. passed away at 4:30 AM, Friday, November 18, 2011, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband: Herbert Smith, parents: R.C Utley and Lorene DeKemper Utley and grandson: Steve Fisher. Ms. Ruby was a member of the Smith Mills United Methodist Church but had attended First Christian Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Dorris Deig Carmel, IN. Lorene Fisher Smith Mills, KY. 4 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandson Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Monday, November 21, 2011 at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Reverend Steve Hale will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery, Smith Mills, KY. Friends may call from 4:00 til 8:00 PM on Sunday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at Tapp Funeral Home.
