Ruby Fay Tooley

RUBY FAY TOOLEY AMHERST(Special): Funeral Services for Ruby Fay Tooley, age 97 of Amherst will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 13, 2003 at the Crescent Park Church of Christ in Littlefield, Texas with Jamie Wootten, officiating and assisted by Wilburn Dennis. Burial will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.

Mrs. Tooley passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Harmonee House in Amherst, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1905 in Keller, Texas. She married George D. Tooley on December 18, 1927 at Odell, Texas and they moved to the West Texas area in 1939 where they began farming. They returned to the North Central Texas area for a few years before returning to Lamb County. She enjoyed gardening and needlework. She was a former member of a woman’s club in Amherst and a former member of the Amherst P.T.A. She was preceded in death by her Husband George on July 22, 1978.
