Not sure what to say?

For Our Mothers

They were so strong
Made of better stuff than we are
Is what we declare
Yet they were so malleable
Changing to make each challenge but
Another furrow to tread

Look into your memory for
The winding mountain roads
They turned into straight ways
Rescuing us from ourselves and
Taking the lead into
Places unknown

Beware! Those who would harm us
Mother is a conquering army of one
Know...

Dear Coralee, Memories of you sweet , sweet mother flood my heart. She was such a beautiful person with a heart of an angel. "The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree" so we know her kindness and character helped shape the wonderful person that you are. I am blessed to have known you both.

Dearest Coralee: Each time I look at the picture of our Mothers standing together, I think of how very much each of them was loved. They were loved and appreciated not only by us, but by the many people whose lives they touched. From the moment you spoke to her, Ruby made you feel so at ease and in such a peaceful place. It was a blessing to have known her. Dolores Reynolds-Mitchell (Evanston, Illinois)

my dearest coralee, i understand, having lost my mom not so long ago..your mother was a beautiful woman...just lovely, as are you;i love you, dear, & i am thinking & praying for you...always, judy

Miz Ruby was such a sweet and special lady. It was such a pleasure to sit and talk with her for hours on end. Her conversations were alway full of interesting stories and opinions. There was never a dull moment with her. She exuded a spirit of peace and tranquility. I do so miss her calm reassurances and love. Flora and I were her "girls". We will always remember that unforgetable visit to Anchorage. We had the time of our lives, one that we re-lived every time we talked with her. Her spirit...

Your mother was a real Angel, she is still looking after you and will always love you. Sincerely, Rev.Flo

Ruby Lee was the sweetest, kindest and most loving woman I have ever met. I am very fortunate to have known her. Coralee not only resembles her Mother in appearance but also in spirit.

I was so fortunate to know Ruby Webb not only as my dear friend, Coralee's mother but also as my own dear friend. Whenever I would stop and visit at the house on Kent Street in Los Angeles she would answer the door and exclaim in a long drawn out, "Baby," and always
please me greatly by saying that I was too pretty to be a boy.

My favorite day was at the house in North Hollywood. Ruby had made a batch of oatmeal cookies. Every time I passed through the kitchen I would take...

A woman of character, strength, beauty inside and out! It was a joy to meet her and know her through the years... Always sweet, loving, gracious and kind. Coralee I know you have fond memories of your mom... I know I do.... From Alaska, California and Bloomington.... She was always there with you and will forever Bev in all of our hearts!
