I'm just now finding out about this!! I'm so sorry! I adored Ruby!! My mother, Shirley Christensen, worked with Ruby for many years at Pacific Northwest Bell-- so I saw her my whole life! They were good friends! In my stint at the phone company, I worked with her son-in -law, Mark Anderson. She never failed to say hello and hug me when she'd see me around town! And a neat fun fact--- Ruby was my dad's "first kiss"! They were in the 1st grade! R.I.P. Dear Ruby...

Sandy, Pam and the rest of the family....Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeanette, Alicia, Casey & Ayanna Smith

Aunt Ruby, I tried to call you for several days earlier this month and you didn't answer! I was so afraid you might have left us and gone to a better place. You did, but I know you can still hear me. I finally found the courage to search and found this. I am so happy my daughter and I drove up and visited with you the last time she was home! You were always the same! Wonderful advice, encouragement and sweet memories! You touched so many lives! We will never forget you and we will...

Ruby was the mom of my dear friend Sandy Anderson. Sending thoughts of the times I was at Ruby´s home in Longview. May her spirit guide the family through this difficult passage.

Ruby was my friend of longest standing. I´ve known her longer than anyone else-94 years. She was born exactly one day before me! We grew up, attended church and school and shared one another´s journey through a long and joyful life together as friends. Though we visited personally each other infrequently, we talked regularly by phone over the course of our lives. I will miss my friend dearly. I regret that I am unable to share in today´s celebration of her life. However, I am confident...

My sweet Aunt Ruby, from the time I was born, till our last conversation, you we're always looking out for me, ours is a special Bond. From our talks about the Lord, to you wanting to go home. I am so thankful that I had one last time to pray for you, and at the end of our conversations you used to say to me remember I love you and God loves you, so I was so blessed to be able to tell you at the end of our last conversation remember Aunt Ruby I love you and God loves you. Lucky you, you're...

Ruby was so good to me and when I was making too much noise in the boys room when I was 8 years old she put me in the bunk bed in Sandy´s room and of course I went right to sleep. She would tell me take this back to stew and come back and get yourself a cookie, I always Love me some Aunt Ruby

I knew Ruby through her daughter Sandy, who always spoke with words of love, admiration and respect for her mom. Peace and love is sent to Ruby and all her family, those with her in heaven and those left here on earth. Cindy Foley
