Dear Mom... It is now January 20th, 2023. I'm reading all the memories and condolences today. Oh how very special this is. I love you, Mom. In many ways, you were a much stronger mom than me - now that much time has passed-this year I will be the age that you passed away... I have come to the conclusion that you were a better mom than I have been. Not that I have not loved my 3 children, but that I was not as tough or as wise in parenting as you. Especially since you were only 17 years old...

Dearest Ruby. I can't believe you're really gone. I just expect to just bump into you at Drugmart or somewhere. Life is really just a blink of an eye. I'll miss you forever and your stories and moral lessons. Grab your loved ones while you have them now and give them a big hug and just let them know how much you love them! Or forgive someone, or say your sorry to someone. Life is too short.
