Not sure what to say?

Rudi was my closest friend in four years of undergraduate study at Princeton. He was one of the easiest people to like I have ever known, and it is hard to believe that he's no longer here.

I went thru Artillery Officer Training at Ft Sill, OK with Rudi. Smart, smart guy. I am truly sorry that I wasn't able to talk to him before he passed. I will inform another of our little group of 4 (Griffin B. Bell, Jr) of his passing.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rudi's death. We were classmates and fellow physics majors in college, and I saw him frequently at UM physics seminars. I have always admired Rudi for his intellect and wide-ranging interests. My condolences to all his family.

Friendship can only last when there are opportunities to get together. Although the tim has past since we were last together in Cali, Rudy was and will always be remembered by me for his persuit of truth. I regret not being able to attend the memorial service, to give my personnal condolence to Rudy´s family, Melissa, Hans and Mrs. Thun. Please forgive me.Bob Peck

It made me very sad to hear of the passing of Rudi Thun. Although I have not seen him since our high school graduation, I remember him as a very kind, thoughtful and caring person. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Rudi, for all of the wonderful books you suggested for purchase for the Woodstock Library collection. You have always been admired by all your high school classmates. We will always miss you.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my classmate, Rudy Thun. I have not seen him in many years but have fond memories of our time at Onteora Central High. He was an outstanding person and scholar and I knew he would have a wonderful career. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to Rudy's family. I did not know Rudy well when he was at Onteora but find the coincidence of his Mother living in Carlisle,MA one of those small missed opportunities of interaction since we lived there for 28 years and never crossed paths.
