Rudy was one of my professors at Morningside and a friend to the music department. Rudy prepared an Oboe recital during his tenure there. He was an involving lecturer and very intelligent teacher. God bless him and sympathies to his family.

Rudy was my professor when I attended Morningside in the late 70's. He was a brilliant teacher and demanded the best from his students. His unique personality and integration of classical music and art into his history lessons greatly influenced my appreciation for liberal arts education.

Dr. Daniels was my Professor in the mid to late 80's at Morningside College . He was the smartest person i have ever known. I took every class he taught. He was a master teacher

Rudy was a member of the Sioux City Chapter of The Reserve Officer Association even though he was not in the military. He was an excellent guest speaker. Rudy will truly be missed by his friends in the Association. Major(retired) USA Dale Brian Davis

I had the pleasure of getting to know Rudy a few years ago while I was employed at HyVee. A highly intelligent man with a very kind and caring soul, I immensely enjoyed our many talks. You will truly be missed Rudy!

Rudy and I worked together for several years at WITCC. Rudy was a bright and friendly man. He was always interested in learning. He researched and wrote a lot about railroads. Railroads became a major activity for Rudy and he was active in the Sioux City railroad museum. You will be missed Rudy!!
