Rudolph Emerick

I learned to drive from Mr. Emerick, summer 1973, at Eisenhower. He was patient, kind, thorough. I have often thought of him over the years, grateful for learning under him. I remember driving on the highway with him, he made easy conversation with me, taking my worry away and enabling me to drive confidently. I owe him a debt of gratitude. Wonderful childhood memories of Uncle Rudy making homemade pizzas for all of us kids and playing outside in your incredible backyard! I love you Uncle Rudy! May the comfort of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Mr Emerick was a great inspiration to me through out my time at DMHS. ('69) He was a great teacher, friend and mentor. He loved teaching the biological sciences and always wore the coolest 'bowties'.
