Not sure what to say?

Rudy and Betsy Kleinschmidt best people you'll ever meet, and we are sad. Reared two fine kids, Karen and Kurt, and good grandchildren.

Missed Tuesday's Herald Tribune and funeral announcement, otherwise would have joined their many friends and family yesterday.

God bless Rudy and Betsy, and thanks for your friendship and many kindnesses.

Ken (Bernie) and I were so saddened to learn of Rudy's death. We had the pleasure of knowing Rudy while living in Sarasota in the 70's and we just saw him last April. What a kind and fun gentleman he was. Sarasota will not be the same without him.

We knew Rudy while we were both trust officers at Palmer Bank in the 1970's and remember his smiles and positive attitude! He was a great, friendly guy, with an outgoing personality! Those were surely good times!! --Ed and Juanne (Kennedy) Herrold, Sarasota, FL

The call from friends this evening was a shock. Rudy, Don and I miss you already. We reread your Christmas card and thought about how we needed to get to Sarasota to see you in 2011. We heard Fleetwood Mack at a restaurant tonight and said a silent prayer and thought of you-- our very good friend. Carolyn and Don Griffith

I met Rudy a little over a year ago when I moved to Wood Lake. He was my neighbor across the street. Rudy was always so friendly and helpful to me in adapting to a new neighborhood;and, he was never too busy to talk, answer any of my questions, or to just say "hello." We laughed at the fact that we were both night owls and late risers. I'm really going to miss him as his presence was a real "comfort" to me. Rest well, Rudy.

I worked with Rudy at Ellis Bank starting in the early 1970's. I ran into him again at a recent party. He really was a fun person with a kind spirit who was well respected by his friends and coworkers.

Rudy has been a very important part of our life, a person who would stand by youand always be a good friend. He will be missed Ed and Betty Tesoriero

I was good friends with Rudy and Betsy in the 70"s when I lived on Pt. Crisp and they were on Treasure Boat. Rudy was a fun, kind friend, and I am very sorry to read of his passing.

Karen and Kurt,
I find it easier to smile through my tears knowing Betsy and Rudy are together again. They had a marriage filled with love and laughter and were so proud of their children. Those are wonderful memories I shall keep with me always.
