Rudolph RODEN passed away. Funeral Home Services for Rudolph are being provided by Paperman & Sons. The obituary was featured in The Gazette on February 26, 2015.
Dr Roden was my doctor growing up in Montreal. Our family loved him what a wonderful man. As a child I never knew what horrors your parents went through until I read your mom and dads book. Truely two amazing people.

I often think of Ruda and am deeply saddened by his loss. I remember his wisdom, caring, and relentless optimism. I also enjoyed his many anecdotes which highlighted his special sense of humour. He was a perfect gentleman and an exceptional human being. I shall always greatly miss him.

For some reason, after not having seen him for almost 40 years, I was led to Ruda's Shoah interview. Only now have I learned of his passing and feel compelled to leave a note to Eva and the rest of the family. I have vivid memories of him as our family Dr. and as part of the "club" in Montreal made up of Czech survivors of the Holocaust, of which my parents were members.
