Not sure what to say?

I have very good memories of my elementary music teacher, Mr. Tapiro, at Lockwood Elementary, Oakland, Ca. Mr. Tapiro was kind to all his students & instilled a great love of music to me, personally. I remember the day the great musician, Louie Armstrong was invited to Lockwood Elementary by Mr Tapiro. I had the honor to play my violin on stage with Louie Armstrong, along with other fellow students. We played "Hello Dolly!" Great memories! Thank you, Mr. Tapiro for your excellence &...

My clarinet teacher and artist of this pencil drawing of the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, gifted to me by Sister Liz Adams of Holy Names College in Oakland, CA. Thank you for teaching me music Love, Vanisha Evans

You were my music instructor at Lockwood. I remember when you arranged for Louis Armstrong and his band to come and play for us, and call Louis and I down to play Hello Dolly with one of greatest ever! You were a great instructor and a better man. All these years later and I still have my Conn trumpet from Sherman and Clay. Thank you for imparting the love of music in my soul.

I loved our music classes with Mr T, as he was affectionally know by his students...

The most influential person in my life; so caring about my brother Peter. I take with me fine clarinet training. I am so sad. I had no idea of Rudy's passing until today. Blessings to the remaining family.

I just found Rudy's obituary. He was my clariet teacher for years. As I became a parent myself, I always took Rudy's advice and searched for "developmental music teachers" for my own kids. My big kid is now in professional music school. RIP

About 2 years ago, I sent him an order & a check. I didn't get my favorite calendar, so I called him. He was so apologetic. Somehow, the order got lost in the shuffle!! I got it shortly afterward.
The next year, here comes my calendar very early & I had not sent him any money. Enclosed was a...

Just found out about Rudy. Our family mourns the passing of a wonderful friend and a consummate professional. He was our daughter's private clarinet teacher for many years, sharing his love of music and many delicious Italian recipes.
God bless you Rudy.
