Not sure what to say?

I still think about Rudy all the time. He was a great guy and always will be missed. So glad I got to know him through the years even though I didn't see him very often after he retired from the city force. They broke the mold when he was born. Great and funny guy who made everyone feel good.

Cathy, just found out about Rudy when Dave and Dee got their info on 2019 SEAL reunion. So sorry to hear he's gone. Still have wonderful memories from our days in those little apartments in Coronado. May all the happy memories and God's loving grace sustain you and your family as you must adjust to Rudy's absence. God bless. Sending hugs from Texas - your old friends, Donna and Tom Smith

Dear Davis Family,
I only knew Rudy only a few brief years as a neighbor and friend. He policed Seneca Gardens during that period. He would often stop to talk both he and I liked to talk! We could go on for a long time until duty finally called to interrupt us. He had a great smile, friendly and gracious personality, and fantastic stories! My Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and I always looked forward to his visits.

I only recently learned of Rudy's passing from a...

Cathy,
So sorry for your loss. I met Rudy one time many years ago but he left a lasting impression with me of a funny, kind hearted, never meets a stranger, truly stand up guy! I learned of his passing from Margie Bellis last evening. She told me several great stories about Rudy. My prayers are with you and your family.

Condolences to the family. Rudy and I served together in UDT-11, Det. Delta. Great friend and swim buddy. Lots of good times and memories from the Vietnam e'ra. Rest in peace my brother, HOOYAH, Love you.

Rudy, my teammate & Buddy.

Rudy was the brother of my cousin Reta, granddaughter to the late Cery Fannin of Louisa, Kentucky. Though I never knew Rudy, Reta always spoke highly of her brother. I'm Joseph Cery Fannin, son of Raymond Fannin.

Was with Rudy in Class 53 And was his Officer in UDT 11. Never quit. Was at his core a tough and resilient warrior, i was proud to have him on my Team. May Rudy be blessed with Fair winds and following Seas. Joe Kelly Hughes former Lt, UDT 11 / SEAL Team One
