Rudy Jones

Rudy was one of the finest men I ever met. He was good a music, recording and most of all he was good at relationships. He had many in west Florida. I knew him and Betty until she passed away. We never got to see each other after Betty's funeral, but I never forgot him and called him in LA. You were my ole brother as you always said and we loved you very much. Our condolences to his family everywhere and my he rest in the hope of Jesus.

Rudy was well known in and around Quincy for his music but most of all for his friendship. He was easy going and always had time for you.He was a good man.I was fortunate enough to go to Dothan Alabama (my husband and I) with Rudy as he was on the #1 rated country station and #1 time slot (at that time) to play his music and he was so excited. We were excited for him. We lost contact when Rudy left the area but we never forgot him. I remember him telling us that he built Jerry Douglas a dobro...

I so hate to read this. Rudy was one of the finest musicians I think I have ever met. He and my father, Ted McGlamory, were very good friends for years and played many, many Bluegrass tunes together. I hope you rest in music filled peace, Rudy. God speed and God Bless.
