Rudy Macias

October 2, 1972 – October 15, 2020

Rowland Heights, California

Rudy Macias was born on October 2, 1972 in Los Angeles, California. He passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Approximately 10 years ago, Rudy relocated to Las Vegas to work and live with sons Russell Macias and Randall Macias. Rudy was a sports fanatic and was the biggest fan of the LA Dodgers, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bulls, and UCLA. He enjoyed the company of family and friends. Rudy always interjected a joke or some sort of humorous story to any conversation making people laugh and feel comfortable. His spirit will be with us always especially during the family celebrations.

Rudy is survived by his Grandmother Ann “Nana” Macias; Mother Sylvia Chasco; Sister Ann Marie King; Sons Russell Macias and Randall Macias, their Mother Jennifer Buttill; Brother-in-law Jeff King, Niece Cheyenne Roberts, Nephew Caden King, Nephew-in-law Tory Roberts and Great Nephew Jameson Roberts; Aunt Doris Mares and Cousin Desiree Mares; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Friends and many more who loved him dearly.

The family kindly asks that  In lieu of flowers, donations for his sons Russell and Randall Macias may be sent to Sylvia Chasco at 1370 Carvin Avenue, Rowland Heights, CA 91748.

Not sure what to say?

I’m just finding out about you, Rudy. I’m so deeply saddened. You were one of my best friends at one point. You will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget you. May you rest in paradise.

Rudy, you will always be remembered. We are so glad and blessed that we had a chance to visit you. It was so fun. We miss you even more. We will always remember your smile. We wish we could have been there to celebrate your homecoming. Heaven has gained another Angel. Love you.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.love auntie martha

It only takes a moment to fall in love (especially with a child) but years to tend to a broken heart. Grief and love are conjoined you don’t get one without the other. The reason we never heal is because our love never dies.
Love you Mijo and Love you My friend.
