Rudy's was a good friend on and off duty. When Rudy would tell me he "had my back" I would never ever worry. I can remember situations we were in together like it was yesterday. We would always laugh and I can remember him being so animated when he would tell me one of his many great stories. I will always remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to the family.
