To our dear friends: To all of you who took the time to send your gracious and thoughtful condolences; our deepest heartfelt thank you. It is with your love and caring we have been able to handle this difficult time, and experience a pride to know how much our dad meant to you all of you. Again, thank you so much for your kind thoughts. It is wonderful to know friends as yourself are there for us in times of need.

Vince,
We are so sorry for the loss of your Dad, Rudy. He was always so gracious to us when we frequented Quito's in Santa Maria. Our sympathies go out to you and your family members. Our prayers will be with his soul and with all of you. May he rest in peace.

Betty, Lisa, Vince and Paul. Love, comfort and deep condolences to you. Rudy was funny, warm and welcoming. You were my second family.

May Rudy Rodriguez rest in peace. It was a pleasure in knowing him and his family. You are all in our prayers and I'm sorry I can't be there to share in the passing of his life. Special regards to Vincent and his family. I'm sorry for your lose.

I had the pleasure of working for Rudy at Quitos in the mid 60's. I will always be grateful to him for his trust, his guidance, but, most of all for his friendship. Rest in Peace, my friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Mrs. Rodriguez (Betty), Vince, Lisa and Paul, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Steve and Alice Salazar.

Dear family: Our hearts go out to all of you, in this time of sorrow. Rudy was w/my husband Ted Moore in Korea. Rudy cooked for their unit. Rudy was quite a man, always a smile on his face, never a bad word for anyone. Quitos was our favorite place to eat, as many will say. God bless you all.

Our prayers go out to your family. Your Father will always be a part of Santa Maria history. We have many memories going to Quito's and will always be a special place in our hearts.

My father, Jack Bright owned a gas station next to Quito's for many years and enjoyed eating Rudy's great food everyday for lunch. I think he ordered the chile relleno most days. My deepest sympathy to Rudy's family.
