Grandpa,
Thank you for the past 28 years. You taught me how to be a man, how to love and care for my family and how to be proud. My heart will hurt until the day I see you again, but I know that day will come. I will honor you for the rest of my life and will put into action all of the things you taught me. Rest peacefully up there and I'll see you again. You were the best grandfather and I'm so very proud to be your grandson.

I will always remember what a great neighbor you were. Always caring, always thinking about other people. Just a few months ago you made time to visit us at my Dad's services. That's the kind of person and family you were a part of. Frieda and Veronica, my heart is breaking for you at the loss of your Dad, there are no words to comfort you and no phrase or advice that will take away the hurt. Just know that those of us that have walked this journey before you are praying and if you need to unload or talk use us to help you through this.
