Manchester - Rudy VanDerPutten Jr., 44, of Manchester died after his battle with cancer on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved son of Diane VanDerPutten of Goffstown and was born in Manchester on Feb. 12, 1969.
Rudy loved and enjoyed being with his children and family. He was a very hard worker and was most recently employed by Athena Excavation.
Rudy is loved by his wife, Lori (Charest) VanDerPutten; son Christopher VanDerPutten; daughter Paige VanDerPutten; stepdaughter Taylor Jernigan; mother Diane VanDerPutten and her companion, George Lawrence; his sister, Jessica VanDerPutten; and godmother Maggie Finger..
Services: Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Cain Janosz Funeral Home at 74 Brook St., Manchester. Services will immediately follow promptly at 1 p.m. Rudy will also be remembered at a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Peter Church, Auburn, on Sunday, Jan. 19.

Words can't express how sorry I am for the loss of my cousin and the pain his mother and sister are going through. Rudy was an amazingly charming man and left a beautiful mark on everyone he knew! My fondest memories of Rudy were when we were little and we would play in the yard for hours. He would make me laugh so hard at times, I would cry.
