Not sure what to say?

Don and I would like to express our love, condolences, and empathy to the Rue Lawrence Family. Rue was there for us when our son passed away nearly 20 years ago - our first meeting with Rue. He had the philosophy that a person should meet his or her full potential, and he helped many people to do just that. Don and I are just two of hundreds of people Rue has helped to accomplish that which we never thought was possible. Working for Rue's company, Springs Leadership, gave us the...

May sweet echoes of Father's love fill the quiet places of your heart...

Marianne and Family,

We feel so lucky to be able to know your family. Thanks for letting us be part of your lives. Marianne and Rue, you have been an amazing example to us of a couple totally in love! It was so fun to see how you treated each other. That is a wonderfule Legacy to leave with your family and those around you. Rue is the type of person who always wished for the greatest success to those around him. His insight and counsel helped us in so many ways. I remember him saying...

Dear Marianne & Family,
I am saddened to hear of Rue's passing yet feel his warmth as I reflect on the many fond memories. Of the many exceptional qualities Rue has, the one I admired most was his genuine, complete love for his family. I know of no one who exemplified that better - every day of the week. I pray your family will be embraced by the warmth of the Spirit during this most difficult time. With love and respect, Mark Oborn

Marianne and Family,

We have always admired the special love that you and Rue have for each other. You both have been such an example for us. Your whole family is so close and supportive of each other. We love the way you always put each other first. Rue has been a teacher and counselor to us. His qualities of kindness, joy, humor, insightfullness and discernment are remarkable. We love you and are grateful for helping us along the way.

Marianne and Family,
Rue was a mentor to so many over the years. He had many great qualities; his ability to care, convey compassion and show true concern. We will always remember his expressions of kindness for our family during difficult times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear family,
How wonderful that you are able to find peace in the sure knowledge of Rue's well-being. I have known Rue for 55 years and have been grateful all that time for his constant, loving friendship. Though years would pass between visits, we were always happy to see each other. I have been so impressed by the love shared by Marianne and Rue - they were meant to be. He so loved his boys, and I'm very glad he got his much desired grandbaby!

Love to you all,

Sherry...

Marianne and Family,
Bonnie and I were saddened at the news of Rue's passing. Like many others, Rue had a positive impact on me during our business partnership at Springs Leadership.

To a Very Special Friend:

The first time I met Rue and Marianne was in late December of '97. The meeting was business related and the first thing Rue said was that he was sorry for the imposition on my time with short notice in the holiday season. His sincereity impressed me, as did his energy level and utter excitement for his life's work. However, the main thing that struck me was after 15 minutes, I felt as if I had known Rue forever. That doesn't happen every day. He was very...
