Enthusiastic, compassionate, caring - he also coached our flag football team to an undefeated season and coached the other 6th grade class to a one-loss season, led the students in creating a track and field complex on an unused field of weeds next to the school, and instilled a love of learning to all.

Brother Allred was my reading methods teacher at BYU in the early 1980s. I still think of lessons he taught and his gentle and kind character. I'm thankful for his influence.
