Not sure what to say?

I still remember Rufina as one of the kindest people I ever met. Her passing was a loss for all who knew her.

Missing her smile and kind words. Sending condolences to the family but expecting they are comforted by many fond memories...

With heartfelt sympathy to all of Rufina´s family. She was devoted to you. Prayers of comfort and much Star Love, Appomattox Chapter #10, Order of the Eastern Star

It is with great sadness to hear of Rufina´s passing. We have great memories with her family. My father was her cousin.

I will miss you, girl. We shared so many great memories growing up in Elmont, especially in high school. I loved being your friend and am so happy we reconnected as old gals! Rest in peace and know you have left your spirit behind with your family and friends.

Rufina and I shared a love of children and I will always remember visiting her with my grandchildren and how special she made them feel. I am so sorry I will not be able to attach her celebration but I appreciate having known her and wish peace for her family. BJ Zarris

So sorry to learn of Rufina's passing. Growing up in Appomattox she was part of our family's life--I never saw her without her beautiful smile, an encouraging word and a wonderful outlook. She was exceptional in her position at DSS as well. I know she will be missed tremendously but her example and her love live on. Prayers for all.

I am so sorry to hear of Rufina's death. We always enjoyed her at the gatherings on Monticello. Sending my prayers and condolences.

We will miss her so much. She was a second mother to Gerry and a big sister to me. She had a heart of gold and a great gift of being a good listener. We will miss her laughter, funny expressions, and her positive outlook. But most of all her love and giving spirit. We will always appreciate her inviting us to her Christmas Eve celebrations. Our extended family was so far away and she provided us a place to celebrate with her and her family in her cozy home. We hope that we can pay it forward...
