Rufus William Burks Sr., 87, a U.S. Armed Forces veteran of World War II, and a U.S. Post Office employee for 11 years, passed away at Toledo Hospital on Saturday, October 7, 2000. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 14, 2000, 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon, at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church, 640 Indiana Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Dr. John E. Roberts. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Dale Funeral Home, Toledo, Ohio.
we all miss you Daddy,granddaddy. Rest in Peace. You will always be present in our heart. Thanks for your son Ronnie who was the father of my sons and was my husband for 46 years. I MISS HIM EVERYDAY.
