Not sure what to say?

Just a note to remember a role model in my life. Trinity Lutheran Church and Pastor Garrett were always there for me as I grew up. The "dirty thirty" as Pastor Garrett referred to his son, Tim (rest his soul), me and our friends passed through the teachings of the church led by Pastor Garrett. He was as awesome as he was tall. May he rest in eternal peace.

So sorry for your loss. May God be your source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the grief that you must be feeling at this time. May the God of all comfort strengthen your family in your time of need. 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17. RM, Cleveland

Pastor Garrett performed my wedding ceremony to my daughters father. He was such a sweet man who made a great impression on me when I was younger. May he Rest in Peace. The family and his many friends and parishioners have my condolences.

Rita Van Gundy Kinworthy, my cousin, said it very well. He was a wonderful person!

I was raised with
Trinity Lutheren Church being a huge part of my life which included Pastor Garrett, who has left me with some wonderful memories. He had such a calm way about him, he comforted me just listening to him. I remember running into him at the store as an adult and I would ask him how are you he would always say "better than I deserve" wow that is so humble but untrue. He deserved the best as far as I'm concerned. What a special, special person he was in my life. Thank you...

I will truly miss him. We attended Trinity Lutheran on sunset ave. when we were kids. He married me and my husband in 1974. Pam McGarvey Kraus
