Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Rufus's death. I graduated from Abilene High with Rufus in 1957 and have enjoyed seeing him through the years at our class reunions. Rufus was a true gentleman, liked and respected by all of his peers. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Johnnie, we were so sorry to hear about Rufus' passing. We are praying for the Lord to comfort you and your children as only He can. May God richly bless you and your family, Johnnie Beth and Butch Menton

Johnnie, Rufus's face will always shine on the page in my Bible wherever the word meek appears, strength under control. We count you among our most precious friends.

Ms. King,
The girls and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. May you take comfort in memories of the happy times you two shared. Our thoughts are with you in this time of sadness.

Mrs. King, Jen, and boys-
I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. King was a great man. I am thankful he is no longer suffering.
He is experiencing eternal peace now!

Johnnie; I am sorry to learn of your recent loss. Although we are all getting on in years, this is still a young time. You are in my prayers and I trust you will take comfort in your memories and your family.

Jerry B. Hill

Johnnie -- God bless you and your family always! What a great man Rufus was! I was really priviledged to call him a friend.
Jesus is coming soon, and then you'll be with him forever. May God comfort your heart until that time.
Very sincerely,
Kenneth Eckley

Johnnie, I was so sorry to hear about the death of your husband. I've had the experience of losing a husband (Jay died 5 years ago) & it really hurts but time helps make it better. We know that our husbands are no longer in pain and are in a much better place than we are now. God Bless You and Your Family.

May God comfort you and give you peace during this time. The angels rejoice at Uncle Rufus' homecoming.
Love & prayers,
Gene, Sharon, Courtney, Brandon, & Cody Ellis
