Not only was Rupe "Mr. Wonderful", he was "Mr. Friendly". Always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone. He will be missed. You know that he is in Heaven with Lorraine. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the McGinn family.

I knew Mr. McGinn as "The Rupe". He was a larger-than-life figure in the community. In addition to his role as a respected elder at St. Alphonsus, I got to know The Rupe through my best friend Ryan (his grandson). I vividly recall swimming at his house, playing table tennis in his basement and how, on warm summer days, he always had frozen pears or grapes ready for us when we came in. Rupert will be missed by all. I worked for Rupe for a couple of years and was fortunate to learn under his guidance. We stayed in touch and it was always a pleasure to see him and share stories. Prayers to his family and may he rest in peace.

Sorry for the loss of your beloved father. He was a wonderful man for sure. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences. God Bless.
