So sad to hear of his passing. Some 40 years ago I met this man who saved my daughters life and reconstructed her face. She was only 6 years old and we were hit head on by another driver. She hit the dash as a result of the impact. She was rushed to Alexian Brothers Hospital as it was the closest to the accident. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Dr Pardoe in the fall of 1998 after I was involved in an accident at work. That was actually the second time that I had heard of him, when I was a child I remember my mother reading of his arctic operation. When I met this gentleman I was struck as I'm sure so many others were by his warm and caring personality.The world is a much more hollow and cold place without him.

Dr. Pardoe was simply the most decent human being I've ever had the honor of knowing.
