Not sure what to say?

To the Entire Swaney Family,

I had just heard the news of Rusty's passing on Thursday, sorry we did not make it to visitation. We were very saddened by the news. I always enjoyed seeing Rusty and Jean at all the sporting events and the after events. I cannot imagine what each of you are feeling at this time, but each of you know he was a great guy and will be dearly missed. Know that he will be watching over all of you from above. Please except our condolences and know that...

To Rusty, the eternal optimist, who lived by it's creed - to be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. Rusty, you are forever in our hearts and souls. To Jean, we will love and cherish you always. And to the entire Swaney family, our heartfelt love and devotion. Heaven just welcomed a giant.

I met Dick & Jean through their son Billy, who spent time with my stepson, John Whitfield (may they both rest in peace)-- Rusty and Jean were so supportive of these great young men. I also knew Rusty through my relationship with his brother, Dick and his wife Terry. His name and all his kindnesses would come up everytime we talked. His siblings adored him. My condolences to the entire Swaney family. Margie Whitfield-Harris
