Not sure what to say?

The world is sadder since you are gone. Your zest for life and unabashed silliness will be greatly missed. My heart will always hurt but I know we will meet again, and you will be there to guide me. Your time on this earth was short, but the lives you have touched are many. This says much about you and your immediate family... I am proud to have you in mine. Love you Russ

Sending our deepest sympathy seems so little to say at a time like this. Please know that we are thinking of all of you and that you are in our prayers. We will all remember Russell for the fun loving, often too energetic, fine young man that he was. He was a credit to his Parents and a joy to know.

I hope your pain is eased somewhat by knowing others share a small portion of your loss and that we too have shed tears of sorrow at the loss of such a lovely friend.

Russell you will be missed! You were a wonderful cousin. May you rest in peace.

For the short time i knew him,i always had fun when he was around !!!

Russell made a great impression on our two sons, Michael and Jakob last summer. The boys met Russell while on vacation with their Oma and Poppop Schnur in Canada. He helped them to create wonderful memories of fishing and swimming in the lake. (We laughed about that crazy swan for weeks.) He will be forever remembered as their summer friend. I am thankful that our sons were able meet such a kind soul. These memories will stay with our little boys forever.

It has been years since I last saw Russell. our familes used to go to the same campground up in Portland Ontario, and over the years I grew very fond of Russell's antics, and sense of humour. Even when he got sunburned so badly that they had to put that funky mesh vest on him, he still was in the lake, swimming like a fish. when i found out about his death this morning, I was in shock, of course but for some reason, all the memories came flooding back. Russell, you were one of a kind and you...

Since middle school, Russ you were always funny and caring and wonderful. I'll miss your little laugh.
