Not sure what to say?

My condolances to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Russell and I spent four special years of together. May your faith and memories bring you comfort during this difficult time and in the years to come.

Russell was my oldest brother and I was the youngest in our family. He was a very sweet brother to us younger kids. I remember picking him up from the airport when it was on 32nd Street in Grand Rapids and being so excited to see my brother come home from the Army. He loved to cook and make pizza for all of us and tell stories. He did a great Elvis back in the day too! And going to the beach in Grand Haven was one of his favorite things to do. I'm glad his pain is over and he's up in...

My grandpa was an amazing person. He was always making us laugh and having a good time. I got cards from him at least once a month, mostly just because he wanted to say hi and tell me how much he loved me. Although he will be greatly greatly missed, I'm happy his suffering is over and he can now lay in the sun in heaven. I love you so much grandpa, I will see you again one day. I know you are liking over me and I'm ready to make you proud. Love always and forever, your...

Condolances to the family of Russell Beatty. I was a member of Ottawa Hills High School class of '57 and graduated with Russ. He gave admirable career and military service and will be missed by family, friends and co-workers. May his family be comforted by their faith in God.

My condolances to the family.. Russ was one of the best ... worked many hours with him, we will miss him

To the Beatty family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. . Russ was the one that directed me to the KCSD back in '68 to join the department. I'm happy that his pain is now gone.

My condolances to the family of Russ Beatty. I was a member of the Ottawa Hills class of 1957 with Russ, and unfortunately had not seen Russ since then. I note though the mention of his career of faithful service to the community, and a reference to his being a Christian. No man can be thought of in any higher way than that. May God comfort those left behind until the day when we will be together again.

Russ was a good man and a fine Deputy, we will all miss him.
