Russell Stearns Beede

I would like to belatedly share a rememberance of the one time I met Russ, from which I got a glimpse into his warm-hearted and generous nature others have written about. About a decade or so ago, a friend and I visited Russ at his home in Westport. My favorite quahogging spot is in the West Branch, and I wanted my father (who loved clams, but was no longer capable of paddling out to my clamming spot) to be able to get there. Russ offered to take my dad out on his boat to the spot. ...

So sorry to hear of Mr. Beede's passing. The Feinstein family loves the Beede Center and we will always remember his incredible legacy to Concord!
