Not sure what to say?

Michelle, we are so very sorry to hear of Russ's passing. He was a wonderful person, so talented and fun to be with. Our deepest condolences to you and Molly, sending you hugs and love. Cheri and Larry

Michelle and Molly, I am so sorry that you have had to lose Russ this way. He had such a brilliant mind and easy going manner. I really enjoyed the friendship I had with both of you. You were all lucky to have each other. If there is anything I can do to help please contact me. Nancy

I met Russ during his brief career at US Bank in the 70's. As a side job, he was the lead guitarist for the Carl Smith and Natural Gas Company band. Russ was fun loving, friendly and well liked by everyone he came in contact with. Anyone who knew him would be deeply saddened by his passing.

Michelle I can't believe that I read this in the paper. I'm so sorry, I had no idea what he was fighting and what you must have gone through. I'm also so sorry I've lost touch with you guys, as well as with all the poker group. I hope to make it to the Lucky Lab celebration. This is such a shock to me and Harvey.

Holly and I were very sad to hear about Russ´ passing. Russ was one of our dearest friends during our years at Reed. Russ was at the same dorm with Eduardo during his sophomore year. They also co-rented a house during the summer of 1970, sharing many evenings together, discussing the finer points of Eric Clapton´s guitar playing and drinking beer. A memorable event that summer was that Russ tried his hand at door-to-door selling of encyclopedias (remember those?) and quit after finding it...

I'm so sorry to hear of Russ's passing. When I was a sophomore at Reed College, I moved into a house on SE Ramona, and he was a room mate for a time. Such a nice guy, great student and musician. May his memory be a blessing.
