Not sure what to say?

I have known Russell since I was 19 years old and met back in 1984. We quickly became one of my best friends for over a decade before I was moving to New York. Last year, I moved back to the Bay area and decided to reconnect for my birthday this year - March 7th. I was devastated to find that he had passed. Without Russell's mentoring, friendship, caring, and love, I would not be the man I am today. He taught that my value comes from within and not that which others assign. He taught me that...

I worked with Russell for several years. I admired his intelligence and calm, even under tight deadlines. He made me laugh so hard, so many times. Rest in peace, Russell.

Russell was sweet person & I enjoyed knowing him when we were in high school. The Glenburn school bus ride was a long one & we chatted often. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family. Rest in peace Russell.

Russell was a good and loyal person and friend that touched so many of us. My condolences to his family during this time of loss. Russell will be greatly missed.

One of the sweetest kindness guys in high school. Never without a smile.

I met Russell in 2nd grade. We played little leage baseball together. We were the two shortest kids in school and the smallest in baseball. Russell was always the lead off batter and I was always the second batter. When I was in my 20's I found out why we were the first two batters every time. We seemed to always get on base because our strike zone was so small. I will miss Russell but I will always hold onto the memories. Thank you for being in my life my friend.

Although I had not seen Russell in so many years I still have great memories of him and I playing as young kids on the ranch while our families were visiting. My thoughts and prayers go out to Russell's entire family.
