Not sure what to say?

Sorry for the loss of your loved one. I love that he is honored with a bench along the D & L trail. It´s at a perfect spot. Years ago there used to be a picnic table there and the county took it away. The cliffs overlooking the river at that spot is a beautiful scene and it´s just the distance where I have to empty some stones from my shoes and now I have a spot. I´m so glad Jon Stewart fought in congress for those health benefits for those at the 9/11 site.

Kathy, Christopher and Kerry,
My condolences on the passing of Russ, a truly good man. I had the pleasure of working with him a number of years in NY and admired and respected his work ethic. Indeed an upbeat and thoughtful person, so much so, that he would stop by the offsite office to check on us after he retired and share retirement stories.
Always glad to see his smiling face. Rest in peace my friend...Jim Becker

Kathy, Christoper and Kerry, my condolences on the loss of Russ, a truly good man. He was a pleasure to work with and I will remember his visit back to the offsite office after his retirement. He just wanted to see that we were all doing well and sharing a piece of his retirement life.

Great guy who I knew for over 50 years. Always saw him at Beta reunions and was a joy to talking to him about old times at Oswego. Will miss him. Picture at Oswegonian, Oswego college newspaper.

I graduated the FBI Academy with Russ, NAC 84-10. He was well liked and respected, a superb Special Agent. Rest In Peace Russ.

Kathy & family, please accept our sincere sympathy at this difficult time. May you feel God’s Presence as He walks beside you.
God bless.

I am saddened to hear of Russ passing on. As a school mate and friend, I can think of no better human. We had many a good time in conversation, academics and sport. A brief glimpse as to how he was. One February we were crossing the Menands Bridge heading west to Colonie Center in his Karmann Ghia ragtop in icy conditions. Someone braked in front of us and we went into a skid. We went from the far right lane heading west and did a 540 degree spin and ended up in the far fight lane heading...

RUSS graduated from high school with me in Averill Park, NY in 1968. I had organized our 40th reunion and was thrilled to see him there and to have many moments to catch up,with him. What a,shock it was to see he had passed. My condolences to his wife and family.
