Russell John Damitz

Very saddened to just learn of Russell’s passing. Russell was one of my great friends back in elementary school at P.S. 14. We had many wonderful adventures together. have such warm and happy memories of childhood with Russell and our time in school and with friends. My deep condolences to all of Russell’s friends and family. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

Yesterday I heard of Russ´s passing. I consider Russ to have been a major tower of good influence in my life. We worked together at Merrill Lynch in the mid 80´s and he was so fun, so smart, so truly kind. I saw someone comment that Russ saw the good in others and also brought out the best in others. That is true! It was really gratifying to read about his well lived, well loved life. My heart goes out to his beloved family and friends, with prayers.

I'm so sorry to read of Russell's passing. My heart is broken for you - Mr. and Mrs. Damitz, Geri and Mark. I remember Russell fondly while growing up in Stapleton and it seemed he lived a wonderful, full life taken away much too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolences to Russ´ family, many friends and colleagues. Russ always had a special way of solving problems and building consensus at work. After all, `what´s a couple of billion between friends?´ He even almost got our black cats to converse through Microsoft Teams so I think he could negotiate almost anything. I knew Russell, and his sister Geri from back in the day. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family, and friends.
