Dr. Russell McCaskill Dandy

I was a patient of Dr Russel for several years and he performed catarac surgery on me in addition to controlling my glaucoma. I always found him to be very professional, open to questions, and helpful in all ways. He will be hard to replace as a person and as a physician. Bill Massey

I only just learned of the passing of Dr Dandy. I was a patient of his for perhaps a decade. I always found him to be correct and professional in all the treatments he gave to me.

To his brother Ronald and his mother and other surviving family members my sincerest sympathy. Both the Dandy´s were, as I remember, nice and genuine people, who made our class at MCG memorable.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Dandy. I was in the industry and called on him for years. Dr Dandy was always very respectful and supportive of the time we had together. I will pray for his family that the are comforted that he is in a better place.

I just got the shocking news of Dr. Dandy's passing. I was not a patient of his, but have been taking an elderly neighbor of mine to her appointments with him for several years. He was aways like the Energizer Bunny, quick on his feet and in his manner, but always caring. My neighbor had already lost the sight in one eye due to glaucoma, and he worked diligently to preserve what sight she has left in the other one. Our joint prayers go to his family.

I met Dr. Russell Dandy when I was referred to him for cataract surgery. I was impressed not only by his skill but his kind and caring manner. That was years ago. My wife and I are heart broken by this sad news but we know he is safe in the hands of the Lord. May God´s perpetual light shine upon him. We pray for peace and comfort for his family and many friends.

My sincere condolences and prayers are extended to the Dandy family. Dr. Russell Dandy was my eye doctor. He was an extraordinary doctor. He was very thorough and caring.
